Disability Management
Disability Management is a proactive program directed at minimizing the impact of disability (non-occupational injury or disease) on each employee’s physical capabilities as related to job performance. A Disability Management Program should benefit both your organization and the members of its workforce by reducing the cost of disability to employers while assisting the disabled employees in returning to work.
The CLINIX Disability Management program provides review in the areas of:
- Short Term disability
- Long Term disability
- Total disability
The CLINIX Disability Management Program promotes significant “bottom line” advantages to your organization in important areas such as productivity, benefits/cost management, and prevention. CLINIX promotes the early return to work of injured employees and can provide you with recommendations to control the duration of the disability. An employee’s chance for successfully returning to his/her regular job increases if he/she returns to work soon after an injury occurs. CLINIX wants to help you reduce disruption in the work place by retaining experienced employees.
The attending physician will be contacted to review any areas of disagreement. This results in recommendations on the appropriate length of disability, and in the case of total disability, a percentage of disability may be assigned. CLINIX can also set up the Independant Medical Exam, when required.
This Program focuses on reducing the likelihood of transition to long-term disability. We help you keep recovery on track.
